Sydney takes the place of Charles
Today is the day that Charles Darnay is supposed to be executed for his wrong doings. Ive been waiting for this day to come for a while because ive wanted Charles to be tried and executed for what he has done. I wanted this because my lovely wife hates Lucie who is married to Charles. i Kind of go with what she wants and says because its better that way. So Madame Defarge and i are going to the center to enjoy this glorious beheading that is soon to come. but when we get there we notice that Charles is not up there and Sydney Carton has taken his spot! I was like " oh hell nah" and Madam was steaming. apparently since sydney loves Lucie so much he decided to take Charles' place on the guillotine and die. He loves lucie so much that he would want her to be happy with Charles and live with eachother forever. Sounds pretty damn crazy to kill your self so a girl you love will live hapily ever after with someone else... doesnt make sense to me. But whatever. his loss. Madame and i were still heated that Charles didnt die for what he did so we then left and went back home.
Storm The Bastille! Bro...
After all of the incidents with the nobility and the poor people i think we have all finally had enough of it and we have decided to do something about it! we are going to storm the bastille. we all heard that the king and queen were going to send the royal army out to kill all of us and burn our crops down so we would have no food to eat! can you believe that!? We stormed the Bastille and it was a total success. we freed alot of prisoners and we got our hands on all the weapons that were stored there. the bastille wasn't only a prison but it was also a arms facility. who's bright idea was it to have a prison and arms facility in the same building? haha. anyways. we then decided to burn down the bastille as a symbolic reminder of what us the people can do the the higher people. we then found the king and queen and killed them because they are the ones who plotted to kill us and we wanted to get to them first before they could get to us. i am so happy with what me and all the other townspeople did today. We showed the authority what we can do and that we need to be treated better. Like my bro Ice Cube once said " Today was a good day"
Young boy brutally run over by horse drawn wagon
Today while out in the commons myself and many other townspeople we gathered around the area. We then heard of the click clack of the horses and heard the wheels of a carriage churning and the hit the cobble stones. We all made room for the carriage to by. Unfortunately little Timmy didn't get the memo and failed to make room for the carriage to get by. The dirty slime ball Marquis was the one who was riding in the carriage and they don't care about anyone besides them selves. its a horrible thing. Since he thinks he is above everyone one of us he can do what ever he wants and proceeds to head straight for the boy. this ends up being the boys last few seconds in his short life. the carriage hits the boy head on and kills him instantly. i saw his father who was definitely shaken up pick up his little boy from the ground. i was heart broken. Marquis then hopes down from his plush seat and says to get over it. he then tosses the boys dad a silver coin. the father is so offended that he throws the coin back at marquis in rage. Marquis then says that he doesn't know why he throws the coin but he disrespected him by doing that. he then gets back to his seat to ride away. I couldn't believe what i had seen with my own eyes. i felt so sorry the the boy and his father. this made me hate the marquis and the nobility so much that i needed to do something to get them to step down...
Broken Wine Cask.
This afternoon a cask of wine was dropped and broken in the street outside of the shop. The wine Spilt all over and the locals who have been malnourished and hungry for days ran to get a quick swig of the delicious wine. I was appaled of the sight because i couldn't believe how many people are hungry in this damn city! its sickening... I couldn't stand the sight of poor people having to drink from the streets, so i went back into my shop. While walking into the shop Madame Defarge gestured to me that the was another man in the building. This man i met was named Mr.Lorry. Mr Lorry wanted to talk to me in a separate room so that is where we went. he asked me where he could find Dr. Mannette. i then pointed him up to the top of our building where he could find Dr. Mannettes offices. After i showed Mr. Lorry where to go i once again went out side to see if people were still trying to sip the wine off the streets. thankfully it was all gone and the poor people had gone off to their normal lives and errands they had been running since before the wine was spilt.
